		A Mother’s Worst Nightmare - August 2006 At 2 o’clock in the afternoon a village mother discovered her two year old daughter had suddenly died. Although comforted by others, it was clear that nothing could be done. Then her friend remembered that there was a Celebration Crusade taking place that evening, so they quickly brought the toddler for prayer. Susan Kasii (a GFI worker) felt the cold and lifeless body and prayed for a miracle. Then around 7pm when the Evangelist was making an altar call, this woman and her friend came forward for prayer. What extraordinary and simple child-like faith this mother and her friend displayed as they believed that the God that the Evangelist spoke of, was indeed a God of miracles. As they prayed together the little girl stirred back to life. Within an hour, the message was all around town that a child had been raised from the dead. Many were there to witness the truth of the event as the people thanked God and praised Him for His great compassion.


Sight Restored - February 2006 Having been totally blind since 1984, a woman at the Juba Celebration Crusade in February 2006 came to the meeting expectantly. She had heard that Jesus Christ could heal her of her blindness. Reaching out in faith as Evangelist Peter Franz prayed for her (and many others), God miraculously restored her sight completely. In front of the whole crowd of thousands of people, she walked up to the Evangelist and touched his nose with her finger. Those around her and those who knew her, were amazed and excited at what they saw. Many other eyes and ears were opened as the level of faith grew in the meetings. And God received all the praise.


	Muslim Town Sees Miracles She is just four years old, crippled since her first birthday, couldn't walk, raise her arms or stretch out her curled up fingers. Her loving family was helpless to find a cure ... until God stepped in. Then, on a hot April night in the Muslim stronghold of Isiolo, an arid town north of Mt Kenya, Jesus totally healed her. She now walks unaided and lifts her hands to praise her healer as her mother looked on with tears of joy. What a testimony of God's great love. That very same night, another four year old, this time a boy who couldn't walk without falling down, now eagerly follows his father across the stage as he walks unaided. Miracles abound as many of the town's people were set free from sickness, slavery and bondage.


Blind 5 years - now he sees ... Totally blind for 5 years, a 50 year old ex-government official, who was led by his grandson to the crusade was prayed for. Suddenly, he said he felt a great power come on him and could see streaks of light. Turning around, he saw the crowds bursting with joy as they jumped in excitement at the many miracles happening all around him. As they worked into the night Evangelist Peter Franz and his team recalled the words of Luke 4:40 "As the sun went down, people brought their sick to Jesus and no matter what their diseases, the touch of His hand healed every one."

	"There is a man with a panga and he wants to kill somebody" These were the words Peter Franz spoke from the stage at a GFI crusade in Isiolo, Kenya, on the 24th April 2005. Unknown to Peter in the crowd there was a man called Samuel who was on his way to kill his brother for stealing his inheritance. He had booked his bus trip and was carrying a panga (machete). Peter's words pierced his heart and he found himself walking towards the stage crying. He gave his heart to the Lord, repented and forgave his brother. Since then his brother has contacted him promising him his share of the inheritance. Now Samuel knows that the Lord will never leave him nor forsake him.


Eye Grows From Nothing He would not take no for an answer. A simple African boy from Lockichoggio in northern Kenya. This boy believed the evangelist who told him that Jesus could give him back his sight. Described as possibly the most amazing miracle he had ever witnessed, Peter Franz recalls the boy's plea, "You pray for me for Yeshu to heal my eye". The boy had lost all sight in one eye during a playful childhood stick fight. "Do you really believe that God will heal your blind eye?" He cried, "Yes I do". And so they prayed. Then looking into the white of his eye where there was no pupil, no iris, not anything … a small black dot appeared in the middle of his white eye. Within half an hour, the eye was almost completely formed. 'I can see' shouted the excited young man as in the moonlight he pointed to road signs, trees, lights. What a miracle - praise God!
